Ammil

"Ammil" is a photo-book concerning the fragility, and re-assurance of Mother Nature during the winter. It is both poetic and stern in its proposal; closely relating to the topics of Friendly Uproot.

What's written:
I felt apologetic pruning off branches for this book; I wondered briefly: what I would do if someone came and shaved off a patch of my hair, or cut a small tip of my finger, would it matter of their well-intentions — of their well-founded reasons? I rather not have it happened at-all honestly — but hopefully, the trees didn’t mind.
Vulnerable, were these collected branches and stems; no-longer vibrant, no-longer firm — fragile;  already withering away as I got home. The evergreens however, remained the same; perhaps, they’re unimpressionable — not by winter, not by the other peers. How often, from the windows of the terrible-manifestation that is the modern-automobile, and our briskly walks, do we observe nature in the winter, how often do we observe the variations of buds on branches; it is to build a friendship, a bond; admiring the vulnerability and fragility, to fully appreciate the confidence and re-assurance of Mother Nature — and of Life.
